Instructions for Sending
Electronic Files for Output to Cherry Lane
Accepted Native
File Formats:
•
Cherry Lane accepts current versions Adobe In Design & Quark
Express
•
We accept PDF Files
•
Specify CMYK or Specific PMS Colors
•
To send large files or multiple files at one time, please compress them into a zip file named for
• the project
Page Construction:
•
Use the collect for output function to insure that all
graphics are gathered and a report of
•
what fonts should be sent (Screen and Printer).
•
We prefer pages to be created as single pages, setup
as facing pages built to the actual trim
•
size. Be sure to include 1/8" bleed all around.
•
All live matter including fonts must be a minimum of
1/4" from trim.
•
Avoid sending Vector Art programs as final pages but
instead import them into a page layout
•
program.
•
Please make sure crop marks are offset 1/8" when
saving PDF files.
Images:
•
Supply all images as CMYK and Grey scale high res.
•
Make sure all images are at least 300DPI and any Duotone
images if being used are specific
•
to the correct colors.
Media Used
•
CD-Rom or DVD Disks
•
Files can be transmitted to us via our
FTP site.
•
Please contact
our CSR Department in advance of sending
files to avoid any unnecessary delays.
